Volunteering at Cradles to Crayons

CCSR students Isadora, Hendricks, Kellan, Lillian and Illona worked together to organize a clothing drive for Cradles to Crayons. They collected 30 bags of clothing to help children affected by clothing insecurity. On March 9th, the students delivered the clothing and spent their Saturday volunteering at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Center. The group was in charge of quality checking books and creating book bundles. Altogether the students helped create 290 book bundles to give to kids in need. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play.
