Toys for Pets and Animal Bookmarks for Peers

These 7 second and third-grade girls found a compromise by working on artistic endeavors for both pets and peers. They applied stickers and added pretty ribbons to decorate bookmarks for second graders for part of their time and made pet toys to donate to the Northeast Animal Shelter for the other part of their time. These students created cat toys with catnip and dog toys for both pulling and noise-making. They also tied felt together to make a “rip apart” pillow for dogs.
