Funds for Animal Shelter

We had a few students who love animals, and they wanted to raise funds to donate to a local animal shelter, to help animals who needed special care. The students (grades K-3) decided to make bracelets and sell them at the same Missituk evening events, at the same table as the bake sale. They worked on their bracelets during the club, and made a lot of posters to decorate the table. Some of their drawings were sent to the community in an email to create awareness of this project. 

The funds that they raised were donated to the Animal Rescue League of Boston. They wanted to make sure they would go to a good organization that serves all kinds of animals, so we researched their website together, and watched some videos of what they do for the animals in the area.
