Comfortable Seating at Library
Some of the second graders in our club have noticed that when kids are at the school library, they would like to sit down and enjoy the books they’re browsing, but there are no comfortable spots at the library to use. The school library is a great place that students love, and it has a great collection of interesting books, but it lacks comfortable seating options.
Maggie and Hazel spoke to the school librarian and explored possible corners, walls and other places to install comfortable seating options. Next, they will research possible soft seating options and make a budget. Their intention is to be able to raise some funds to add some of these cozy corners so that kids can enjoy while reading their books.
