Collection for the Homeless

Ariana and Brock, a third-grade group, wanted to help the homeless. They decided to organize a collection of items to donate to a homeless shelter. They made flyers and distributed them to all classroom teachers to send home in their student’s backpacks and they were also sent electronically to the McGlynn school community. They also made posters to put up around school. When the collections accumulated, they organized and sorted the items. Collection of items was concluded on January 17th.
