Climate Change Matters
These 5 second-grade boys worked to educate their peers about the dangers of climate change. They created posters to hang up in the school and they also worked on a large mural that they hung outside the cafeteria. In addition to their own artwork, they encouraged their peers to use their coloring artwork while at lunch coloring in pages highlighting recycling and climate change topics. The students created and copied the papers that they left on cafeteria tables to be used after students finished lunch. The students in the lunchroom loved the opportunity to color in the pages left for them.
