By Memorial Day

The 4th and 5th grade CCSR students worked together to host an event at the Oak Grove Cemetery to clean the headstones of Medford’s Korean War veterans. With the help of many volunteers, in one day the group was able to clean more than 100 gravestones back to their original brilliant white color. The event took place during April vacation, leaving plenty of time before Memorial Day. At the end of the day, the students and adults seemed to have a renewed sense of patriotism.
