Black Lives Matter Awareness Campaign

CCSR 4th grade students Kydan Cabralis, Martin Alvanos, and Caleb Davis worked together to raise awareness of the Black Lives Matter movement. The students found an anonymous sponsor which allowed them to design and distribute three different BLM button pins throughout their grade level. They also initiated many class discussions by explaining the movement’s mission. Black Lives Matter is an international social movement, formed in the United States in 2013, dedicated to fighting racism and anti-Black violence, especially in the form of police brutality.
