Medford Recreation Volunteer Opportunity

From the Medford Recreation Department: Medford Recreation will be in partnership with Belmont Recreation’s S.P.O.R.T. program along with C.C.S.R. students at Medford High School. This Adaptive Soccer Program will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm from October 6th – November 3rd (5 weeks in all) for participants ages 5-14. The Rec Department is reaching out to see if any of you are interested in being 1:1 assistants for our participants as volunteers.
Volunteers will be asked to arrive 30 minutes early and come every week to maintain consistency with your partnered 1:1. Volunteers will need to help redirect participants, keep participants focused while the instructor is giving directions and give hand over hand assistance at times as needed. Please visit our website www.MedfordRecreation.org and under programs you will find volunteer opportunities, and be able to register there. Once you have registered, please email Kate Quinn ([email protected]) . Thank you so much for considering becoming a volunteer for the City of Medford.
