Used Coat Drive

These students all had chosen to be peer tutors with the kindergarten students and needed a project to work on in the once per week, afternoon CCSR meeting. These students chose to start a coat drive and worked on posters, decorating large boxes and a letter to parents that went out school wide. They collected several large boxes filled with gently used winter coats. The coats were dropped off at Jordan’s Furniture. Jordan’s Furniture was going to take the responsibility of getting the coats cleaned before they were given to needy families.
