CCSR Clothing Drive for Second Chances

CCSR students Isadora, Vitoria, Hendricks, Kellan, Lorraine worked together to organize a clothing drive for Second Chances. The students’ goal was to help supply clothing for people in need. The clothing drive took place between December 19th – 23rd 2022. The group collected 75 bags of clothing -that’s over 750 pounds of clothing! Second Chances is an organization that reuses and recycles clothing, shoes, and accessories so that homeless and lower-income people feel confident and valued as they take their first steps toward brighter futures. They also encourage the community to minimize the amount of apparel going into local landfills.
