A Better Breakfast for a Cause

CCSR students Arzel Jacques Traore Lugo, Adam Peloquin, Micayla & Cody Fleming were passionate about helping the innocent children of Gaza and Israel. The students planned a “Better Breakfast for a Cause” where they sold breakfast items to the teachers and staff at Roberts Elementary School. The students worked hard to brainstorm items to sell, create a flier, advertise to the teachers and bring in food items. The breakfast sale took place on January 10th and the students raised $280 to donate. All the money raised will be donated to Plan International. The donations will support Plan International’s emergency response in Gaza and Israel’s neighboring countries — where they are responding to mass displacement and providing relief like safe spaces for children, mental health and psychosocial support and education for children.
